Grand Finale Shabbat Weekend & Reunion: April 25 - 26.
Temple property was sold to Kucich Construction, LLC in February.

President Lou Anstandig and the Temple Executive Committee announced plans during the High Holidays for the Temples's closing in 2025.

Temple announced plans for the Next Chapter Legacy Campaign.

Debbie iszauk became new Office Manager
Rabbi Howard Stein became our new spiritual leader.

Torah Campaign chaired by Alan Iszauk
Torah Campaign successfully raises funds to evaluate our Torahs and make necessary repairs.
Temple celbrates their 100th Anniversary. Lindi Kendal is Chairperson.

Rabbi Paul Tuchman became our new spiritual leader.
2001
Under the guidance of Rabbi Schiff, Lou Anstandig, and members of the Temple board, our membership grew to over 170 families. We were a dynamic growing congregation and look forward to a bright future.
2000
After years of merger talks, the Temple was approached by the Tree of Life Sfard to buy their property in White Oak. We were very pleased to be able to move to White Oak Boro in May, to take over a Jewish House of Worship. Many members of the Tree of Life have joined us in creating a bigger, stronger, more viable congregation. Louis Anstandig, our president, brought this to fruition with the help of many dedicated Temple members.
1996
Regina Klacik became the new Executive Secretary in June. Tony Gall became the custodian.
1993
Rabbi Danny Schiff became our new spiritual leader.
1991
Rabbi Leonard Helman became our new spiritual leader.
1988
Rabbi Phillip Blachorsky became our new spiritual leader.
1987
Marlene Rowe became our new Executive Secretary in June.
1985
Profits from Bingo Fundraiser provided sufficient funds to purchase a cooler for the kitchen, as well as electronic air cleaners, new social hall lighting, and new entrance doors to the social hall.
1983
Summer services held at Tree of Life Sfard.
Bingo Fundraising Committee turns over $20,800 to TBI.
TBI summer picnic at White Oak Park.
1982
TBI honors its 70th anniversary in this sanctuary; Irene Wander is Chairman.
In May, Leonard Berkovitz is made Honorary President for Life.
As part of the celebration of Mollie Siegel's 100th birthday, the Siegel family refinishes the Rabbi's lectern and presents its twin for use by the Hazzanit.
1981
First Break-the-Fast is held in our Social Hall following Yom Kippur services.
Sylvia Byer chairs our brand new TBI Tuesday evening Bingo.
1979
A Touch of Classes, the reunion of all TBI confirmands, was held in June; Babe and Phil Wingert are Chairmen.
Our students attended Religious School at the Hebrew Institute in Pittsburgh.

First Sweepstakes Banquet - Sylvia Byer is Chairman.
On September 22, we honored our 50th year in this sanctuary and the 61st year of our formation. Program chairman is Bernie Goodman.

Rabbi Leonard Winograd became our new spiritual leader.

Ida Rae Hirsh is our Hazzanit.

Morley Meredith, Metropolitan Opera baritone, sings at our High Holy Day services.

Rosh Hashanah reception was made an annual event by Sisterhood.

Sanctuary was air-conditioned, as was social hall and kitchen.
1962
Rabbi Sidney Goldstein became our new spiritual leader.
Temple celebrates its golden anniversary at Baldock Country Club. Chairman is Dr. Al Levin.
1958
Sisterhood began Catering Service. A 16-voice volunteer choir beautified the services.
1954
Rabbi Robert Raab became our new spiritual leader.
Sisterhood remodeled kitchen for $8,200. Chairman was Mrs. Joseph Odle.
1952
TBI Youth Group conducted a High Holy Day Children's service.
Sisterhood's new project was an annual calendar.
Egon Pesson Building was dedicated.
1951
Cantor was Mr. Tabatsky.
Mrs. Lil Amper headed gift shop, a new Sisterhood project.
Membership asked to support new school building.
Breakfast Club Brotherhood Sunday mornings.
1950
Sam Hirshberg was honored for his 15 year tenure. Debts in excess of $60,000 were paid off during his presidency.
Friday Night Forums. First speaker was Milton Sussman.

Rabbi Wolli Karlter became our new spiritual leader.

Goundbreaking for Shaw Ave. sanctuary. Dr. Noah Sunstein was chairman of cornerstone laying. Simon Kalstone headed Building Committee, with Henry Friedman and Eugene Krow.
